We are currently recruiting a Electrical Installation Supervisors with extensive experience manage complex and multi-disciplined functions for equipment installation and commissioning of electrical, automation and control systems equipment installations.
 
You have previously been involved in:
 
Project Details
 
Delivery of electrical ackages in a heavy manufacturing environment across various Capital Projects as determined by the Capital Budget. Typically, new process line equipment and upgrades including
 
Tasks

• Supervision of electrical installation works including:
• Electrical equipment installation including electrical distribution equipment
• Automation equipment installation
• Drives and Communications network installation
• Cable and associated support structure installation ranging from control and network cables to LV and HV cabling
• Development and Implementation of safety systems and procedures including:
  • Development and review of Job safety Analysis/Safe work method statement documents
  • Involvement in Hazard and Risk analysis
  • Leading and participating in on site toolbox meetings
  • Implementation of safety controls for implementation and construction works
  • Active supervision of safe work systems during installation activities
• Participation in development of designs with focus on constructability aspects
• Preparation of scopes of work, technical specifications ,drawings and tender documents.
• Preparation of installation documentation
• Management of onsite contractors
• Development, review and sign off of QA activities associated with the install of equipment
• Assistance in Commissioning of equipment and process systems.

 
The successful applicant will have the following:

Minimum of 10 years’ trades supervisory experience
Writing technical specification for the works, issuing of tender.
Compiling the SWMS and JSA’s 
Running the installation contract.
High level of initiative and problem solving skills
Strong HSE focus
 
This is a long term contract role and a competitive hourly rate in line with level of experience will be paid.
 
Your project leadership skills will include managing all primary and secondary processes including internal and external stakeholder engagement. You must have the ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, to accepted quality standards, with ZERO HARM to all involved.
